A self-regulatory model, built for South Africa

Our framework, aligned with the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act of 2024, is designed to foster a safe, transparent cannabis culture while adhering to international standards.

Our self-regulating Grow Club Compliance Model enables the establishment and operation of private cannabis social clubs across South Africa, offering full traceability and transparency while working within current legislation. These clubs are safe, private spaces where like-minded individuals can exercise their constitutional rights to possess and use cannabis responsibly. Our mission extends beyond compliance — destigmatising cannabis culture in South Africa through informed, respectful community.

What GOA affiliation does and doesn't cover

Adults Only, Private Use

Cannabis may only be possessed, cultivated, and shared privately by adults aged 18 and over.

No Buying or Selling

The buying and selling of cannabis remains illegal. GOA Clubs do not facilitate the commercial sale of cannabis.

Operating Within the Law

GOA Clubs operate with a focus on compliance with applicable South African legislation, supported by strict compliance standards and operational procedures.

No Guarantee of Immunity

Affiliation with Grow one Africa does not guarantee immunity from any legal consequences relating to cannabis possession, cultivation, or distribution. Members and clubs remain responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable South African laws.
